Right now it is the winter / spring time down in Rio de Janeiro and the weather alternates between cold rainy days in the high 60's and 70's to nice hot days in the 80's and 90's. On the colder rainy days (and the days when the national soccer team plays) few people are on the Copacabana and Ipanema beaches... but once the sun breaks through it seems as though everyone heads to the beach.

I hope you enjoy some of the pics I have taken while down in Rio de Janeiro. I have a lot more and will be adding them to my website as soon as I get around to it (i.e. if it is a sunny day I will be at the beach and if there is a major soccer game going on I will be watching it ).
